Celebrate Equinox and Earth Day

This fourth year our annual Spring Festival of Faiths and Cultures will extend for six days from March 11th to March 16th. On each day a complimentary program takes place at Thanks-Giving Square from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. presenting a different faith and cultural experience that demonstrates the essence of its traditions. Some events will be inside the Hall of Thanksgiving and others will be outdoors in the garden/plaza at Thanks-Giving Square. Celebrations will include experiential presentations, parade, music, food, color, and traditional prayer ceremonies. Join us for this family-friendly community event organized by the Interfaith Council of The Thanks-Giving Foundation.

This series of events will:

  • Educate the Dallas community about the diversity of celebrations of the Spring equinox
  • Share and appreciate some of the traditions that are part of cultural heritage.
  • Create opportunities to interact with the ‘OTHER’ in our midst.
  • Renew and imagine new ways to be grateful
